Host Your Next Meet-Up at Jo-Ann…for Free!

12/09/2013

HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, is excited to announce Meet-Ups at Jo-Ann – an opportunity for the community to use select Jo-Ann classrooms free-of-charge.

Whenever a participating Jo-Ann classroom is not being used for a course or demonstration, it can be available for a Meet-Up. Absolutely free. Jo-Ann classroom space is perfect for hobby groups, scout meetings, guild gatherings, community events and more.

“Jo-Ann offers classes for sewing and crafting enthusiasts of all skill levels as well as the Make it a Party program for children’s birthday parties, but we have always been asked, ‘Can we use your classroom for our get-together?’ Now, we are thrilled to say our answer is ‘Yes, and it’s free,’” said Chris DiTullio, vice president, advertising and marketing, at Jo-Ann. “We welcome our communities to take advantage of not only this meeting space but all of the available resources as well.”

A Meet-Up reservation comes with convenient access to Jo-Ann sewing machines, craft tools, project ideas and knowledgeable Team Members. Reservations are required for Meet-Ups and must be made one to seven days in advance. To reserve space for a Meet-Up, ask a Team Member in-store. Some restrictions do apply.
