Jo-Ann Stores Hires Kris Arabia as Vice President, Product Development

HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, announced today that Kris Arabia has joined the company as vice president of product development, reporting to Riddianne Kline, senior vice president, chief marketing and merchandising officer.

Arabia comes to Jo-Ann from J.C. Penney Company where she held the position of Divisional Vice President of Sourcing for Home. Beginning immediately, Arabia will oversee the fabric and craft retailer’s Design & Trend, Global Sourcing & Production, and Quality Control & Compliance departments. Additionally, she will assume responsibilities for managing overseas agency relationships.

Prior to J.C. Penney, Arabia held various sourcing positions with Walt Disney, Pottery Barn, Bath & Body Works, and Mikasa. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She, her husband and their four children will be moving to Hudson, Ohio – home of the Jo-Ann Stores corporate headquarters.
