Create a Ball Jar Herb Planter to celebrate Earth Day

HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, is hosting a Simple Sunday free Make It-Take It event on April 21 from 2 to 3 p.m. at all Jo-Ann stores nationwide.

“With Spring in the air and Earth Day around the corner, these Ball Jar Planters are the perfect home for fresh herbs or flowers and can be created in just a few simple steps,” said Beth Shivak, manager of special events for Jo-Ann. “This Simple Sunday project, the second of twelve planned for 2013, is a simple and fun way to take advantage of two hot trends on Pinterest right now – Ball jars and chalkboard paint.”

During the Simple Sunday event on April 21, customers can create Ball Jar Herb Planters to celebrate Earth Day – a great project for crafters of all ages and skill levels. The event will last as long as supplies do, or until 3 p.m. – so come early!
