Jo-Ann to Host Free Make It-Take It Crafting Event for Kids August 18

HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, is hosting a free Simple Sunday Make It-Take It event on August 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. at all Jo-Ann stores nationwide.

“With summer vacations coming to an end, this Simple Sunday crafting event is aimed at getting kids back in the creative mindset and ready to start their school year on the right foot,” said Beth Shivak, manager of special events for Jo-Ann. “Plus, the Clothespin Creatures are a fun and simple way for kids to personalize their new backpacks, lunch boxes and school supplies.”

During the Simple Sunday event on August 18, kids can create adorable Clothespin Creatures with the help of Jo-Ann Team Members. The event will last as long as supplies do, or until 3 p.m. – so come early!

Simple Sundays provide an opportunity for crafting and sewing enthusiasts to learn firsthand about the foundation of the Creativity Made Simple campaign: simple solutions to creativity. The simple solutions to creativity are simple skills, simple supplies, simple steps and simple shopping.
